Abstract

Syed Peer Mehr Ali Shah (1859-1937) was a renowned Sufi personality of 20th century from Indo-Pak. He confronted sectarianism, which was inculcated by the British and saved the Muslim Ummah by guiding them to the moderate path. Haji Imdadullah Mohajir Makki told him about an Insurgency in 1891. He predicted that this would be conspiracy in Indo Pak region and that he himself would play an important role in stopping it. The next year Mirza Ghulam Ahmed Qadiani claimed himself to be Maseh-e-Maood. He denied the uplift of Jesus God to the Heaven and claimed himself to be prophet. He wrote three books "Hadyaturasool, Shamsul Hidayah, and Saife chistyaie" in reply to false claims of Mirza Qadyani. Although these books were not much in volume, but they were precise covering all basic points rejecting all their claims on the fundamentals of Islam. Critical Analysis on the method of Interpretation for the protection of the concept of Finality of prophethood by Syed Peer Mehr Ali Shah (R.A).
