Abstract

In 16th centuary A.D., the foundations of various groups were laid down on the basis of deviation from Sunnah in subcontinent. Although, these groups were having different targets and different ways to act upon, but they were having the same anti-Islam agenda. The socio-religious triangle of misguiding scholars, mischievious Sufis and their political benefits; created a tough situation to abide by the principles of Islam. Shykh Ahmad Sirhindi played a vital role in order to counter these anti-Islam forces. His methodology was in accordance with the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet PBUH and eventually he succeeded. In this way, his methodology is a role model to counter the same anti-Islamic circuimstances in future. A discussion has been made in order to elaborate the challenges faced by Shykh Ahmad and his methodology to work against this situation.
