Abstract

Hazrat Sultan Baho (رحمۃ اللہ علیہ) is a renowned Sufi poet. He has presented the philosophy of knowledge and devotion with Allah at the same time. He criticized that type of knowledge which is only for material gains. He condemns knowledge of those scholars whose get knowledge for material pursuits and not for the sake of Allah’s recognition. There is also a convincing comparison between knowledge for materialism and love in hearts for Divine. Universality of his message is a permanent source of inspiration for the reader of all ages.
