Abstract

Hazrat Baba Farid, (رحمۃ اللہ علیہ) is a famous Sufi poet of Punjabi language. His poetry possesses the philosophy of harmony and equality. The concept of death and preparation for the life after death are also striking topics of his poetry. A man should not forget the purpose of his arrival in this world by indulging himself in materialism. One should do good deeds to present before Allah Almighty. Baba Farid (رحمۃ اللہ علیہ) has presented simple and universal examples to teach moral lesson to all human beings.
