Abstract

Sheikh Ahmad Sirhindi رحمتہ اللہ علیہ)) was the meditator, exegete and revivalist of tenth century. Who played a vital role for the excellence and audacity of Islam in the sub-continent. At times when Akbari Religion and other passive innovations disfigured the basics of Islamic values, he worked for the revivalism of Islam desperately and valiantly. He worked in an ebullient manner and performed firmly against the tribulations and persecution in Akbari era. His scholarly writings and intellectual dissertations played an important role in social and religious reforms. These dissertations are a proof of his efforts in that era. The intellectual content of Sirhindi’s dissertations includes important discussions on Qur’anic exegeses, Hadith interpretation, theological and spiritual thoughts.
